Kevin Gausman and Ryan Eades squared off against each other in last night's Cape Cod game between Gausman's Harwich Mariners and Eades' Bourne Braves. Neither gave up a run, and they only gave up a combined 5 hits!

So Austin Nola couldn't hit Ryan Eades.

Sounds like Eades pitched very well, only 1 hit

Yep. Eades just getting right. Can't wait for next year. I know he said he was looking forward to Dunn coming on board!

I'm more interested in how our pitchers develop than our hitters. CBB is a pitcher's game, now.

Still need some pop in your lineup too. As good as Florida and Vandy's pitching is, they can still hit the crap out of the ball.

I would say we need "doubles" type pop. Need to start spraying the gaps and get those team doubles totals in the 130's+

Katz, Rhymes, and J Jones should each have 20+ doubles next year

We need more left handed bats...Pitching will be solid.

That's not a bad middle of the order right there. Not at all. If Nola gets it together he can be a doubles guy.

Completely agree. With the players we have we could hit a ton of doubles.
