It's always busy....I love that place.

Always thought they needed a more distinctive location.

They should take over the Old State Capitol.

They had one.

The spot that they held before I left was pretty distinct.

There have been three..One in the old Catfish town, one on O'Neal, and one on College. Only the one on College is remaining...just South of the old location.

Has been there since at least 1980. It was across the parking lot pre Walmart, Albertsons etc.

Yep, I went there a couple of days ago with the kids. They tucked it into the corner across the parking lot from where it was when the Walmart opened 6-7 years ago (this is the one on College Dr). I think they brought some of the original furnishings over to the new place.

Side note: I think there's something wrong with my oldest daughter. How can a 9 y.o. from South LA not like beignets?

We go there every time we are in BR. Then we always drive thru on the way out of town and eat a bag on the way home. My 9 year old loves it.

Coffee Call is awesome. Best coffee of any drive-thru place in Baton Rouge.

I didn't like them as a kid either I still don't love them. And I have to only have a tiny bit of sugar, if any.

Like the food but the people who take orders make you feel like you ruined their day by coming in.

The older black man that makes the beignets is as nice as they come.
