I was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed the pork-on-a-stick. I'll definitely go back when in need of a quick, on-the-go bite. Looking forward to cooking up their sausages in my red beans too.

yeah, that has been the general consensus of the place. Ask them not to sauce your meat, so you can add as needed.

I got a pulled pork sandwich when I went. I was good, but oversauced and cole slaw was a little too wet. Good lunch though

I'm going to try this place this weekend. Baton Rouge is in desperate need of a good BBQ place, IMO.

Finally tried this place today......EXCELLENT!

The girl behind the counter was extremely nice and helpful....She recommended that a try a platter where I pick 3 meats...I got ribs, BBQ chicken, and sliced brisket, with creole corn and garlic grits as sides.....

All the meats were great....Couldn'nt have been better.....At the table there are 3 sauces to use, I went with a spicy viniger sauce, or something like that....I'm stuffed, and brought home half my food in a to-go box...My bill was around $14, and I picked one of the most expensive things on the menu......The girl from up front came by my table, checking to see if I was enjoying it, and a older man, who I'm guessing was the owner, came by to check on me also....I'll definitely be back...

Oh yeah, and I asked this earlier in the thread, so just to answer my own question, they do serve beer, wine, and liquor......

They close at 6 PM? That makes no sense.
