How valuable is a circa 1950's Browning Sweet Sixteen?

It's Belgian made nad has a gold trigger. Got it from my grandfathee, it's in fantastic shape.

If its in fantastic shape, 95% plus we are talking 500 - 900 assuming no polychoke or recoil pad. If those are in place we are talking $350 to 500. If it is a mint and actually a sweet 16 from Belgium (which seems right since its a gold trigger) and in the box, unfired, it can command $1500...

I have one of these. Priceless, not for sell. My father bought it in the mid 50's. I would expect it to increase over time.

I've got one that my dad gave me. Its not in great shape. It was a duck gun for alot of years. Spent a couple hours at the bottom of cross lake on year. Most of the gold on the trigger is worn off. I use it for squirrel hunting sometines
