It's not the player's fault

It's coaching, mainly in the 3rd base box. You can't kill your rallies early in the game and keep the other team hanging around. Please fire Javi Sanchez after the season.

Why wait until after the season? Javi needs to be fired right now on the field while the MSU fans are still celebrating. He needs the public shaming to realize how much he sucks at his job.

I disagree, I'm pretty sure the players work with the assistants the most and the head just looks over everything.

Funny you have no clue about how to win in team sports. I guess you only remember the last play.
How bout LSU dominating the series and being up 5-0 in the 4th inning of game 2 when Sanchez stepped up and "announced his presence with authority". He killed two LSU rallies, and got the MSU crowd cheering and bailed out Miss State's struggling pitchers. LSU should have coasted to this win and not been in a 1 run ball game at the end.

I am one of the few Grewe fans (minus the rumors from the clubhouse). But I hated the Javy hire from the beginning.

Grewe has never been a pitching coach, so what does PM hire him as? Until PM goes we will be no better than average. Rooney made him look good the first few years.
