Is Bridesmaids just a chick-flick or could a boyfriend enjoy it too?

Did you create an account just to ask this question?

to the op, why would you drag a man that isn't gay to a chick flick?

From reading the other threads it is supposed to be one of the funniest movies of the year. I thought they were all being sarcastic at first, but too many guys were saying it was great to be a lie.

I saw it and laughed my arse off.

Saw this tonight, and thought it was hilarious. I really enjoyed and I am fully confident my boyfriend would find it funny.
Then again, he isn't against seeing chick flicks with me as long as they have some comedy in them.

I really don't see it as a chick flick.

it isn't at all.
It's exactly what I thought it would be. It's just a comedy set around women. You could change a few things, plug in men, and it'd be the same. Very funny.

Funniest movie I've seen since Hangover. Not a chick flick... Lost my breath laughing more times than I care to count.
