With some already in harvest mode and others getting close, I am really itching to see what the OB'ers are growing out there. Post yours, and let's hand out some green thumb awards...
I nominate LSULEFTY and DOWNSOUTHTIGER as judges.

My very small garden, but I am proud of it

Some of us don't plant until Good Friday or after.. this needs to be a running award or postponed a bit.

Absolutely! I'd like to see progression shots too. And at the end of the season, we can hand out bragging rights.
Mine is nowhere near producing, while Lefty and DST are already raking theirs (hence my recommendation to have them judge). This is my rookie year, so I'm hoping to learn a lot from the best the OB has to offer.
I'll post mine later. At work now.

Love it. Tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers?

Does two key lime trees count as a vegetable garden?

In that case, I'll post mine as of today, this afternoon. Just starting to get some to break the ground.

Mine is smaller than yours and I'm proud of it too. Already starting to harvest eggplant and banana pepper. Really getting anxious for my tomatos to ripen.

I knew I should have taken a picture of the 14" cucumber I picked the other day.

Thanks for the honor! Let's see the pics and we judge.

Nothing fancy and we've cut it back to very small since we'd make one with 6 rows X 25 ft then take off playing ball all summer and the weeds would take it.
I don't eat maters but my kids and wife do so I grow a few for them. Now, love this Mrs. Wages salsa dip I make with them for Saturdays in the fall when I watch tv.

I've just got some mater plants in pots on the porch. We had a huge garden most of my formative years and I swore I'd never do that again.

Black Beauty Eggplant
Pinstripe Eggplant
Banana Peppers
Zucchini
Tomatoes: Roman, Better Boy, Beefsteak, Sweet 100's, Lemon Boy, Better Bush and Bush Champion.
Lower are on right is Arugula. My favorite for salad fixins!!!!
I built the bamboo supports last year. I'm glad it is holding up again this year.
I have fruit trees as well. A huge Satsuma tree, Blood orange trees and a fig tree.
Need to put in a lemon tree and a red navel orange and I'll be set.

Do you have that bamboo coated/sealed with anything? I've got a bamboo forest behind the house and been thinking about using some in a project.

We've eaten about 10 Roma Tomatoes and about 12 Banana Peppers.
Can't wait to start eating the bigger tomatoes!!!

No, I don't coat it in anything.
That bamboo is strong as heck!!
If you were going to make some decking or fencing with it, I would definitely look into protecting it.
But there are no insects that burrow into it or eat it. It is awesome!!
Even if you don't protect the bamboo, you have tons more to do the project again!!!!
