what does this mean? you think the very beginning of the boring/long/drawn-out baseball regular season should get the same amount of coverage as the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs?

It is the playoffs. Ratings are good, fans interested, good games, etc.

Dude, had you seen the 3 OT game last night, you'd wanna talk about it, too.

I have never gotten into the NBA, but the playoffs this year are very interesting. Hell my wife even watched the end of the triple OT game with me last night . Maybe you should give it a fair shake this year...

Maybe they can show some professional ping pong, and some lumberjack competitions.

ETA: Maybe some WNBA while we're at it.

Yeah, I'm kinda taking a break from ESPN after my Spurs got bounced way too early.

NBA is over for me this year.

Sure do wish there was more lacross coverage...oh wait, no I don't.

The NBA playoffs is the big event right now in sports, if they weren't covering it I'd be pissed. Baseball is boring until November, the NHL is great and I love it but it's not a big enough sport to devote a lot of coverage to it.

At least the Spurs got bounced by a team that was better than them. They are my second least favorite NBA team, so I enjoyed it. The Rockets not making the playoffs was also enjoyable.

Not enough IMO....get rid of Baseball Tonight and add another NBA segment...or a NFL or NCAA football segment. Anything but MLB

frick you. MLB owns. And if you don't like baseball, you might as well avoid ESPN. They're located in the Northeast and it's very apparent that baseball is their favorite sport. ESPN puts a million times more effort into their baseball coverage than they do for all their other sports save for maybe the NFL.

And they'll continue to do that until basketball surpasses baseball as America's 2nd most popular sport.

ESPN isn't stupid.
