Maybe Lester Earl can get a job there to help bash Ridley. He's got great experience at it. Wtf does belichick know anyway?

The other running back the Pats took most certainly was. I thought Ridley was a 4th round project, but not 6th like I heard on the NFL network.

I predict he will have a stable career. Not great, but a starter for a few years.

We'll see.
The NFL is an Equal Opportunity Employer, everyone gets the same chance, what you do with is your choice. Remember Green Bay took a QB in the 7th. round in 2008, he's now the back up QB. That same year they took another QB in the second round. Guess whos no longer with the team?

Ridley is a stretch because they probably could have gotten him in the next round anyway.

We will never know. All it would have taken is one team to put in the card.

Some fall, some get taken early. Some, never get taken.

Also fitting a system is what comes into play.

Best of luck to Ridley.......

Yep, can smell your qualifications.

Don't let this affect your obvious NFL Draft Prowess:
quote:

Given a third-round grade by the NFL Advisory Committee
, Ridley could prove one of the best values of the 2011 draft for any team looking to add a physical presence in the backfield.

he was told he would have been a 2-3rd pick, so whomever is advising him is a smart man

So when they praise the Saints for taking trading up to take Ingram they are right. But say Ridley was a stretch, they are idiots?

Can't have it both ways. 3rd round is a little high for Ridley.

There was a few teams looking at Ridley, not just the Pats.

I remember when he was recruited out of Miss.

Didn't take long:

SOPHOMORE SEASON:

quote:

Pressed into full-time duty after injuries sidelined LSU's top three running backs - Charles Scott (clavicle), Keiland Williams (ankle), Richard Murphy (knee) ... Came off the bench at Alabama after the injury to Scott and scored on an 8-yard run with 3:19 left in the third quarter to put the Tigers up 15-10

quote:

A standout on LSU's coverage units, recording 10 tackles on special teams.

An now to finish his time at LSU:

Team leader who was voted as the permanent offensive team captain for the 2010 LSU football team.

2010 First Team All-SEC (Coaches)
2010 Second Team All-SEC (AP)

Piss on the doubters and haters...if the kid is good enough for Bellichek (sp?) in the 3rd round, then that is good enough for me....I think that coach and that organization has a LOT more cred in evaluating players than any snooty, fat assed bloviater on this board trying to "poo poo" the pick..
