Should LSU help put togethor a type of "Baseball NIT" in the event

the team doesn't get an NCAA bid ?
Have it at the Box and call it the Bertman Classic,or something like that ? Just start with 8 teams this year for easy bracketing.
Thoughts ?

I like the idea of putting The Box to use when it's not, but it would be hard to fill seats for a losing team.
Maybe a high-school All-star invitational would be more appropriate.

I think that at the end of any season in which LSU would actually be bad enough to participate in a tournament like this, people would just be ready for it to be over and move on. Seriously.
