i am not going to say that a change or two shouldn'y be made on this coaching staff, but the guy said that cooper should be sent away could not be any dumber. that guy is one of, if not the best db coach in the country.

regarding everyone that has said the clm "...embarassed US..." if that is your biggest problem, you live a pretty charmed life

or i would rather you stfu.
IF monken is interested, this will be a huge decision for miles. would a guy that always protects his coaches actually demote one? even if it means he then leaves?

that may be the "you are a $4 million coach" decision.

muschamp wants the extra visits while his staff is short. miles did this recently also.

yes, i said, "staff is short"
so that makes the loss to Coastal Carolina ok??

you can't be serious.
that game will be just like the west virginia game. give up plenty of yards, but win.

the funny part will be the media's opinion of a "blueprint" of how to beat LSU. and half of the numbnuts here pissed off about chavis not blitzing on every play.

enjoy the wins :nana:

look at the other side of the arguement. yet another injury happens 2 or 3 games from now. collins is expected to come in and play like a stud? gonna need more than 5 linemen to play per year.

trust your coach. unless you want curley and gerry back (like when i was in school)

what part of "TEAM" don't you understand??
whomever said "no rational reason" mack brown should be behind miles is freaking nuts. granted he landed the recruits, but if you were to take away vince young, and colt mccoy, what is brown's win %?

name a coach that has kept his program at an elite level for more than a few years..

stoops, miles, peterson, saban........???
global, you can't really believe what you are writing??

Oregon "...had a bad night...". that was as dominating a victory as i have ever seen. LSU's defense demoralized them. and against a highly ranked opponent.

"...MSU is weak...that is not debateable...". they won a bowl game last year, didn't they? they were leading the SEC in rushing offense. vs LSU they ran 58 yds, and 1.5 yd / carry.

LSU's def is ranked third in the country against 2 ranked apponents, and one cupcake.

if the wv offense is as one dimensional as they have been this defense will dominate.

i think wv will get one big play to keep it relatively close, but lose none the less.
duck boy, you say no big deal cause mary jane is accepted in oregon. alcohol is not treated as serious in southeastern Louisiana. t-bob was suspended for getting a dwi this off season.

this is Miles' best attribute. one which coach kelly apparently does not have. if there is a problem, he deals with it, doesn't hide it. even to the short term detriment of the team.

suck it.
i have said for a while, against running qb's play a 5 man dline. d thomas will not win throwing the ball
how gray is it..........charcoal

what movie?

has LSU ever signed a player he has supplied film on?

if not, then this all means nothing. if yes, then hold on for a bumpy ride.

some people need to cool their jets.

when people with "issues" enter a program, either they weed themselves out, or they join the program. leadership takes care of this, it just takes more time with certain people.

things will be fine.
roger, while i agree with the thought...are you serious? you think the same mental effort comes from 18-20 yrs olds that far into a 11-13 game season? :banghead:

i have said this for years as far as playing against runnings qb's. make him get rid of the ball, and dont allow olinemen to get downfield and create larger running lanes.
i have said cpm is chicken dik for a while now. and have been mocked for it.

you just dont do these things publicly. any coach with his experience should know better.

re: SFP's RB argument

normally, i would simply say sfp is a Douche Bag, but i agree with both of you....partially.

i hate trading future picks, you are never sure with free agency, or injuries, what your situation will be the next year. also, rb's generally can be found later.

however, two things are apparent by the move to draft ingram: the front ofc knows the super bowl window is open now, and they want to do everything they can right away. and this front ofc has been one of the best in the league regarding scouting. they have hit much more than they have missed. i think the front ofc has earned everyone's trust.

so everyone chill the f out.
if the staff stays the same for 2012, they will be shopping for completely new bunch in 2013.

x's, and o's notwithstanding, this staff seems to have allowed (or caused, depending on whom you might blame for this) the team have completely lost confidence. to me this is more important that "knowing baseball". this is 18-20 yr olds, not professionals.
those stats are pretty telling. this is way passed "bad baseball fortune". pm needs to realize that he can cherry pick assts from around the country. not necessarily promote a grad asst. i am not saying sanchez is the only problem, but pointing out that this offseason we will see if pm thinks he can just wave a magic wand and fix things.

i think his arrogance will ultimately get him fired.
