How bout a guess the picks thread?

Idea-

*List the pick #s (24, 56, 72, 88, 226, 243)
*Guess 3 names next to each one
*Option of guessing TRADE next to each one (don't need to specify)
*5 pts for 1st choice right, 3 pts for 2nd, 1 pt for 3rd

whatcha say?

random thoughts so far...

Martez Wilson LB, Illinois- don't think the 3rd LB can make it to 56

Kendall Hunter RB, Oklahoma St- have him as a surefire 2nd Rder myself

Luke Stocker TE, Tennessee- nice at 88

Mark Herzlich ILB, Boston College- a little hopeful, I'd go 4th-6th Rd

Mason Foster LB, Wash- quietly will pass many to be a 2nd Rder

Quinton Carter S, Oklahoma- nice

Mikel Leshoure RB Illinois- #2 RB that some have even ahead of Ingram won't last to 56

Jaball Sheard DE Pittsburgh- I love this guy. Could be as high as late 1st tho. If the Saints trade back to early 2nd I'll guess it's in hope of getting him. Way gone by 56 IMO

Titus Young Wr Boise State- optimistic at 88

a bunch of good later round names

my picks

1st pick Daquin Bowers- clemson

2nd pick big steal here mikuil shoure Rb Illinois beast. best guy at spot and could use another guy in the mix maybe move bush to reciever. Runnig backs have broken down in the past.. Let the four compete.

3rd- another steal slips right to us Justin Houstin -drug test, take a risk.olb georgia. good pass rusher if we dont get him here pats will and if the pats are interested he can be that bad.

3rd Casey mathews it has to run in the blood. oregon ilb.

seventh round- silva mania Oregon. He has ok
safety skills can always use special teamer too.

seventh round Andre Holmes- fast and tall wr and could be a monster lineup with colston and meachum if not solid on sp teams.

blueslover - are you concerned about Clayborn's physical ailment -- too risky for a 1st round pick?

Martez Wilson will NOT be available by the 56th pick. Is he, or Ayers, worth a 1st round pick at #24?

Loomis: "I don't know if it will hurt his draft status. He's not off our draft board," Loomis said. "He's on our board, and he's a good player. We've examined the issue, talked to our doctors about the issue, and obviously it's a concern for everyone. But he's not off our board."

-good enuff for me

I'm more concerned of his Sr yr performance and looking more like a 3-4DE guy. I think very good but not a premier speed rusher. I like more trading up for Smith, Kerrigan, etc or trading down for Sheard.

I go Martez Wilson unlikely at 56 but not NOT Definitely don't score him at 24. Ayers? Kinda meh. If they do I trust'em. Don't really expect it tho.

A bigger medical question to me is, Is Bowers OFF their board for medical issues? If not, he's another trading up for guy.

I know there are more fans with backbone than this. Fear not, it's a crapshoot more than most years. Jai Eugene!

Adrian Clayborn DE Iowa I too like him as the first pick. But too many things can and will happen this year. Teams will be doing lots of moving tonight/tomorrow.
