Nick Saban honored with statue

i think this is pretty awesome! what has LSU done for Nick Saban since he is the one who is responsible for all the Success that LSU is having and why we continue to recruit well.. he has helped this university both on and off the field. built an Academic center for the athletes just to mention one thing and what we do as LSU fans we boo and curse at him. when we should be honoring him.

So Saban still recruits for LSU?
Everything else in your post I agree with, but please explain how Saban is "currently" responsible for our recruiting success. He is in the same conference, same division, and goes after many of the same players we do. That has to be why we recruit so well.

i think what he is saying is saban completely overhauled the football culture at LSU and is a big reason why the program sells itself the way it does today ... saban does deserve a lot of credit for that ..

Did Saban set the standard high when he left? Absolutely
But to say he is the reason for our recruiting success today is a little off IMO. TigahRag, I get what you're saying. However, CLM is one hell of a recruiter. He can sell his program and the kids believe what he is selling.

You do know that LSU was a pretty respected program before Sab...... never mind. You won't get it anyway. Proceed with the fapping to Saban.

I think so. But for the OP to suggest a statue right now is just a stupid idea. Do you think Alabama would be putting it up now if he was coaching at LSU?
