Was talking to Faulk's dad at the L Club prior to the Spring game (I Know Cool story Bro); anywho, he said that Kevin's oldest boy (14) was tearing it in the Boston area and will probably be transferring down to LA once his dad was finished w/ the Pats. Curious if anyone has heard of this kid??
Side note, Faulk's dad is a super nice guy.

Kevin Faulk III has been mentioned here a couple of times. Word is that he has a similar build and agility to his dad. Others articles indicate that Coach Belichek (sp) and lots of the Patriots players treat him like a son/little brother

I used to work with kev jr at a summer camp. As a 8 year old he was solid as a rock. Genetic's are amazing. Kevin wants to coach in Lafayette parish when he officially decides to hang it up.

What's the connection to STM? Why not Carencro where his son will attend once he retires.

I would love to see Faulk's kid play for the Tigers, that would be special. I know we've had some son/dad combos before but none that really mean anything to me.

oh, cool. I like that former Tigers are becoming coaches all over the state.

Prayers sent, Its gonna be tough for trev to win there. He coached at carencro and Northside for a short while. He's very laid back.

the younger faulk will go to the school with the best coaching, and that is either Acadiana or STM

Kevin said last summer his son will go to Carencro High at some point when he retires because that's the area he plans to live in. Brent Indest is in his second year the school and led them to the playoffs for the first time in several years, including the end of Barousse's tenure which wasn't too good.
