the 5th element is a better looking movie than most sci fi that comes out today, and it came out in 19 ninety fricking 7

The showdown at the house of leaves in Volume 1 is one of the most fun and badass sequences. When she walks in and just chops the girl's arm off to prove she's not fricking around, you know you are in for something amazing. Tarantino knows how to make awesome and fun violence.

Possibly Armageddon. But I see what you are getting at. I'd throw Zombieland in there also but a lot of people don't care for it.

The first Kill Bill was definitely "fun". The second one was a completely different movie.
