I'm deffinatly gonna go watch some IDPA matches. Miculeks place is just right up the rode a little ways in Princeton. Spanky, my wife may cuss you now. Like I needed another expensive hobby

A dude I train with in martial arts invited me to the one in Amite. I may try to go April 2, if my pistol is out of the shop by then.
I have no clue as to division or class or anything like that. I'm going to show up with my stock 1911 and say "I wanna try this out".

Apr 2nd is the IDPA match. If you're shooting your 1911 it will probably be ESP. 3 mags will be enough. Just bring a holster and a couple mag pouches.

What does ESP mean? I know that some competitions have a single stack category (I imagine that a 1911 falls under this), but that's all I know.
