If JJ is the starting QB I don't see a better season than last year. This cat has had 9 lives and haven't a clue why. If Mett starts and gets much vlaued time on the field we reach the promised land quicker. Only then will I say the sky's limit.
Additionally, I'm not as high on the Offensive Line as many critics until they prove to me they are improved.

i guess the same as i've been saying for the last few years....look out for or, wva, ms st, ky, fl, tn, au, al, olms, ark and the sec cg.

well combining an sec schedule with two tough ooc games on the road against teams who are predicted to win their conference. Its tougher then normal.

ultimate goal is always the SEC title. that's the only thing LSU can control. the BCS thang will be lagniappe if it works out, but get focused on winning the West. Basically, Ark/Aub/Bama. I think LSU is definitely good enough to win all 3. piggies concern me the most.

I need to at least see the spring game, and probably need to wait until the end of summer to see what Mett is able to do and whether he starts. I realize it would take a lot, due to the praise Les heaped on JJ recently.
I am not betting the house if JJ is at the helm for Oregon.
I am in the Oregon time zone, so I see them now and then.

I know the Aubies beat them but the Aubies also beat LSU about the same, really.

Since we can't play in the MNCG and the Cap One during the same year, I can only assume that you are expecting us to beat the SEC team that goes to the Cap One (I'm guessing either Arky or UF) with such an epic arse-kicking that we can simply claim all of their victories as our own.

it's way too early. there are still too many question marks on this team.
1. still no qb.
2. who's gonna replace drake, shep, and PP7
3. new LT, possibly 2 new tackles
4. unproven rbs
5. new kicker, punter, and return man.
but a lot of talent. a coach that wins. and you guys got a new OC so that should be problem solved right? expectation are probably sky high. ask again in May.
