That's correct. It looks more like a small ethnic grocery located in the neighborhood just southwest of Soho Square in Homewood. The guy from Atlanta famous for his Cuban sandwiches moved his Atlanta restaurant to Vestavia Hills. Can't think of the name of the place but it's suppose to be the only place in the area to get a really good authenic Cuban sandwich.

Nabeel's is a really good choice. I also like Pita Stop near UAB. My only gripe is that they don't serve gyros. Their other pita sandwiches and their kabobs are "slap yo' momma" good.
