Toledo Bend... I caught a good one...

Went to Toledo Bend Monday and Tuesday. It got cool in between the two days so the fishing slowed a little bit. Nonetheless, we were catching fish at a rate of about 1 fish every 30 minutes.
This was the last fish on Monday afternoon, we didn't weigh her because I wanted to get her back in the water quick. She appears to be full of eggs. I'm gonna guess she was about 5.5 or 6 lbs. Oh yeah, I think she was half redfish... look at the spots on her tail.

It got cold Monday night and seriously slowed them down, Tuesday was a lot slower for us...
I figure they'll be back on by the weekend, I may go try again tomorrow.

For sure, she was shallow... that pic looks like we were in the middle of the lake. This one shows it better, but my friend cut her tail off in the pic.

Oh I'm about to. Don't you worry about that. Got a few things I've gotta do around the apt and then I'm going to hit the lake. Just gonna try some bank fishing this afternoon cause I don't feel like strapping the kayak to the top of my car.
