Move to Zachary... #1 school district for about 7 straight years..ever since breaking away from EBR schools.
Every school is new or getting a brand new face lift. The High School Football stadium and facilities are probably better than USL.
Just close your eyes as you drive through Baker.

The Zachary schools being #1 is misleading. Individually many other schools have a higher scores as far as ACT and state test scores than Zachary. Zachary schools have the highest average as far as K-12, but Mandeville and Dutchtown also scored higher as high schools. Zachary doesn't have Covington or Donaldsonville dragging the district down. That said Zachary is perfectly fine. I was paying tuition and moved out to the suburbs. I figured out over the life of my kids K-12 education I am saving around 180K in tuition. That's a second house. I am sorry but that's just ridiculous. So far I see very little difference in the education my kids are getting as far as quality. I am very familiar with what a good education looks like.
