I vote Florida as well, but I also like the opening drive in the National Champ game against OU...it set the tone for total domination and LSU's first NC since 59!

I have a different take on this one...

When LSU went on something like a 13 or 15 play drive against Arizona on a Saturday Night on TBS and just jammed the ball down their throats? The game we won 50-something to 10 or 13 or something redonkulous like that? That game, and that drive in particular, let everyone know that we were on the National Scene.

They may not have realized it until we beat the dogsh!t out of UGA a week or two later, but we arrived that night as a team with national aspirations.

I think the drive ended up going for more than 100 yards, because we had, like, two or three penalties during the course of it.

It was devastatingly beautiful.

Just one guy's opinion...

The 2007 drive to win the game vs. UF would probably easily beat that one out, but that drive made me sit back and say, "Yo...We are FERREALDOH!"

Georgia 2003 wasn't much of a "drive"...

Devery brought the kickoff back to midfield, and Mauck's pass to Skyler was 34 yards...Only about 15 or 20 yards in between...

This despite the fact that it's my favorite home game I've ever attended...

Fla 07 was so memorable to me and such a great battle of will vs conditioning. Glad we won that game. It couldve easily been a Fla W. But I can tell you I wouldn't have wanted to be on the receiving end of those Hester runs.

though we lost (and rather painfully), the go ahead TD drive vs. Iowa in the Cap One was just surgical. really both drives JR led, and his 4th qtr as a whole. the last drive was just him slicing up the Iowa D for 10 plays or so and you could just feel the momentum building.

jones to davis td with 1 second on the clock to beat those ole miss bastards. and that was when they actually had good football teams. definately one of the best drives ever.

Count me for LSU-Ole Miss '72 Although the '64 comeback TD drive and 2pt conversion is right there.

Not as significant since the game was a blowout, but at South Carolina in 2003, LSU had a 20 play, 99 yard TD drive which ate 10 minutes off the clock.

Great win, but Gators 07 had it all.

15 plays, 8+ mins, 2 Top 10 teams, 2 4th down converts, playing the defending NC, and Hester helped off the field after scoring the game winner and being "da go to man" on the drive.

Hard to top that drive in either drama or season importance.

In all fairness, he faked the injury, if I remember correctly.

BCSNCG v OSU

We were down 10-0 deep in our territory...no rhythm yet on O...it's 3d and long ....a punt gives OSU ball back near midfield with ton of confidence and momentum...facing 17-0...probably insurmountable comeback if that happens...

Flynn drops backs and hits Early in tbe left deep flat and Early turns it into a first down....

Don't know how that drive ended, but that PLAY was the biggest single play in a long time

Les Miles "I know you can do it son so I called Urban over there and I told him number 18 was gonna be running right down their grass eating throat.

Hester "um, coach, aren't you the one that eats grass?"

Les Miles "Yes but trust me, their gonna know what it taste like when you keep running them into the ground now go get us four more downs!

Hester "YES SIR COACH!!"

Referee "First Down!"
