of Nascar - 20 year old winning in only his second sprint cup start - first win for Woods Brothers in a long time.

I doubt it... A Daytona 500 win is not exactly an excellent indicator of how the season is going to turn out... He may be a top 20 driver or so, but I seriously doubt he will be the savior.

Why does NASCAR need a savior?

It is way too early to say that. He is talented, but to say he's "the savior" is a bit premature bro.

NASCAR doesn't need a savior. It's doing just fine. Bayne's just another NASCAR "feel good story" in a long line of em.

That two-by-two racing is boring shite. Drafting is bad enough, but a whole race of dance partners is just too weird.

I wasn't aware but, the Wood Brothers only had plans to run 20 races this season due to finances. Additionally, Bayne is calssified as a Nationwide driver, not a Sprint Cup driver therefore, as it stands now, he is not even eligable to compete for the Sprint Cup.

I call this win a complete fluke. He drove one hell of a good race. The kid is very talented and will likely move to a competative car next year.

I went to the race and it was a lot of fun.
