If we fire TJ who would you want to replace him?

Anyone that will do something different. I couldn't care less who. TJ is cementing that he is no good here.

Yeah his first year sucked.

I will say though that last year was bad, but we also lost a ton of people.

This year squad has been a disappointment, no doubt about it. However, you can't deny that Turner and Derenbecker look promising.

As for next year, we get our 1st McD's All-American since Taz, and we pick up Hamilton and Isaac.

I honestly believe that with this year's squad, Brady would have the same record.

This will have you doing what you're doing for many years to come then my friend. Change doesn't happen over night. I agree that the team is piss poor. I disagree with those whom do not support our coach.

That is precisely how we got where we are now . . .

Whether that will turn out to be a good thing in the long run, who knows. But right at this moment I am particularly reminded of posing the same question to those who wanted Brady fired, and getting responses like, "it couldn't get any worse!" and "ANYONE would do a better job than Brady has!"

Firing a coach (like any other firing) is never simply a matter of how well/badly they are performing; it is about whether the situation will be better after firing them than it would be if you keep them. Many on here insisted that the situation HAD to be improved by firing Brady because it couldn't *possibly* get any worse. Some of them are now describing LSU's program in terms such as "lowest point ever" and "worst it's ever been."

And as bad as it is now, I am again inclined to remind people that it could indeed get still worse. So unless a better option actually presents itself, firing Johnson is not necessarily the smart move.
