Isn't there a better chance for a larger TV audience at night

Someone posted ratings during last season that showed ABC's Saturday night football as third or fourth behind other networks showing reruns. So while it seems reasonable that the viewing audience would be larger, it has proven otherwise.

Yes and there is. However it is spread across ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNU, CBS Sports Network, NBC, and ESPN on ABC. And then once a year you throw CBS into that mix.

CBS slot a 3:30ET/2:30CT is right in between the ending of the early game and beginning of the late games and draws a large crowd.

Too many bama people control what CBS does. They do it on purpose.

Like I said, I doubt the times for the games will be the times they were last year (mostly day games).
