Made the drive to Laffy today to pick up a rifle they were holding for me. Gotta say, that is one of the best "gun stores" I've been to in a while. As far as selection and customer service, best I've experienced lately. First time I've ever been but defeintely a good first impression.

LS was the only place around that had the particular rifle I was looking for. Like I said, never been in the store before. They were busy but I still had someone ask if I needed help within a few minutes of walking in and had me filling out my paperwork right after. The main thing I noticed between there and most of the local BR shops is they apparently believe in helping more than 1 person at a time. I understand that calling in the NICS check, etc takes a few minutes but at alot of the places around BR, once they start with one customer they wont even acknowledge another until they are done. The guy helping me was helping 2 other poeple but still was able to spend a little time with each of us then move to the next.
Either way, great experience at their shop. I've had a bad taste in my mouth with the BR shops lately, except with Bowie. They are pretty good on service, just not much selection.

i've heard they excel in guns, but are very sub par when it comes to archery or bowhunting knowledge.
i asked about bayouland bowhunters before i went to them, and got positive reviews....after going there for my purchase, i can honestly say brandon and the staff there were top notch and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects
i highly recommend using BB for anything dealing with bowhunting

they'll price match if you find the same gun for cheaper somewhere else

I found their prices to be on par with everywhere else. It was the service and selection that I was happy about. Not sure about their bowhunting stuff...

I didn't notice. They had such a large selection of pistols I didn't even look at all of them. All I noticed was Glocks and H&Ks but like I said, I didnt see half of what they had. I'd be surprised if they didn't have Springfields but maybe not.

LS is the only place I could find .40 cal bullets when OBama was elected president.
Often they have exactly what you need when you cant find it elswhere.
If you are looking for used Handguns try Barneys in Carencro. They have a lot of used cop guns.

I was in there around Christmas and they had several Springfield XDm's in there. I didn't check to see if they had any other Springfield guns in there.
