I won't say that any one of those backs had a better year than Justin Vincent did in 2003. Some had better careers than Vincent, but none a better single season.

Of that group, Joe Addai, D. Davis, Toefield, Charles Scott, and Jacob Hester had better careers.

And all of those guys ran behind great offensive lines...except for Scott and KW.

JV rushed for over 1000 yards as a freshman and didn't become the starter until the South Carolina game (which was something like week 7). He was the MVP of both the SECCG and the BCS National Championship Game.

But you think Shyrone Carey and Rondell Mealey were better running backs?
