I'm relaxed, but that fact doesn't mean much.

Payton has a lot more leverage now than he did when he was trying to become a head coach.

I figured it was okay to post--you know...with the shortage of Payton threads here.

Did Dick Vermeil stay in Philly when he came back?

Sean Payton was building a house when he was hired by the Saints. A friend of mine's parents live directly across the street in Grapevine, TX. The house wasn't complete and it was sold by the Paytons.

Sean Payton was an assistant at dallas when we hired him.

In other news, this does not influence speculation what so ever about Payton's future as a Saint. Payton himself acknowledged he understands the fans speculating at this point and to be honest, I don't think he really knows what's going to transpire.

Bill Cowher had a place in Carolina while coaching the steelers. He still has it.

And didn't it eventually wear on him to the point of retirement? How does this help your cause?

You're really starting to get on my nerves.

I'd almost think you want SP to leave.

He had that place for years before he retired. I don't really think having a second home was what forced him into retirement.

There was an article in the Inside Out magazine after the Superbowl. His wife spoke of a particular house in Dallas that they love.

I wonder if this is the house they bought.

New Orleans is a pit. This is not hard to fathom why he would want to live elsewhere.

His contract will be up after 7 years, not a slam dunk he will be here after if his next 6 years coaching could be that better off in a closer home type situation.

No, i think this house is 4 times that house. He was an assistant coach when they built that.

Payton has established the saints as winners. New Orleans is a premier job as long as we have Brees.
