I'd have to see the thing as a whole... Sony like the jersey by itself but I could see it looking pretty cool if paired right.

It's really easy to tell who the old farts are in this thread. The bottom line is the kids love shite like this and we should keep doing it even if Nike "disrespects" our stripes.

Why does a football jersey have basketball nets on the shoulders?
I know. It is pathethic how Nike can add this crap but cannot figure out how to make the shoulder stripes go all the way around our normal jerseys.

first off, you're a fricking idiot
shoulder stripes are not possible on the Pro Combat template. And if you want to see no respect for a uniform, check out what Adidas did to UCLA's uniform. Keep in mind, UCLA is one of their flagship schools.
how's that for shoulder stripes?
a full shoulder stripe is not possible on modern football jerseys because there isn't much of a sleeve anymore.

LSU has traditionally had Vertical Shoulder Stripes, since at least the late 40's. The Nike Pro Combat shows that Nike has no respect for what is the LSU Uniform.

and FWIW you can design Pro Combat jerseys on Nike Team Uniform Builder
that's more than likely where this jersey came from

Yall get to worked up. It's one game, and it's not a home game. They will look good...we have no clue what the helmets, pants, shoes, and gloves will look like.

onsidering they do ProCombat at Ohio State and Oklahoma just off the top of my head, I'd say yes.

I dig those numbers on Jim Taylor's jersey there; I wouldn't mind permanently changing our block numbers to those.

Say what you want, but the kids love Oregon's different uniforms. There were recruits quoted saying it was a huge reason for their interest in them as well as saying every recruit in the nation loved it.

I don't want LSU going down the black jersey road.

The jersey looks sweet but I wonder what the pants and the helmet would have looked like. I still like the ones we used. I thought it was a mix of old-school, retro style with a mix of new, and modern style. It looked cool.

Wow dude you sound like a douche. The whole purpose of the combat uniforms is switch things up and look different. God forbid someone "disrespects" our teams stripes. You care way too much about that shite.
OOps, excuse me....I forgot that anyone over 21 that posts on the Rant, isn't allowed an opinion.
I'll try to keep that in mind in the future.

Is it really necessary for college football to have an element of GAY in it?
All you guys who like alternate uniforms, why don't you go get some Barbi dolls. You can switch around their outfits all day long, and it will give you your precious opportunity to say, "That's a sweet uni."

This!

I'm glad, that shite is ugly and the colors don't look right.

Agreed. Too blue for the Tigers

Leave LSU's unis unchanged. Not broken, don't fix.
