-looked good
-J.Jones had one hit but looked like he has a great swing.
-Mahtook had a long homerun
-gausman had a good game. I was behind home plate and the gun hit 96 once.
-rumbelow had a decent game. After a nola K he told coach pm that the pitch was not hittable.
-eades look real good to me.
-solid hits through the order.
-hanover at 3rd made a great play.

any questions ask.

Things sound good. Anyone know what the practice/scrimmage schedule looks like next weekend? Wasn't able to get out there this weekend.

How many people were out there?

yes it was rumbelow pitching to nola. Rumbelow had a tight hard slider he was throwing. I would guess around 200 people showed up. I do not know the schedule for next weekend.IMO Gausmen was very impressive with how hard he was throwing and the command he was showing. The best part. Pitchers walked one batter and hit one all day. I like that.Make the hitters earn the way on.

Yea today he was. Jjones was with the 2nd team but so was Ross. I think CPM was just giving them work.

He looked pretty good yesterday. I think Gausman, Eades, and Alsup have looked to be the clear starters so far. Rumbelow(sp?) looks to be the relief guy along with Bradshaw. As long as the pitchers play more mature than most freshman we should be really good this year. Tomorrow I will give my thoughts on the whole weekend series.

I think most people will be shocked with our pitching.

i was impresses with Snikeris, the catcher. Hit a moon shot home run and a hard single. Looked real comfortable at the plate.
As far as spencer ware, it's easy to see the guy is talented. Strong arm, fast. but, understandably, he's behind on the little things like taking angles on balls and turning his body correctly when a runner is tagging. That stuff comes with repetitions so he should be a great addition.
