I know I'm going to eat at Rendevous & Central BBQ. Any other places I should check out? I heard Iris was really good.

I think you may be better off trying somewhere else for BBQ. I ate at Rendezvous before and it wasn't that great .

Rendezvous is very hit and miss, but it can be a fun thing to do if you've never been...

wife and I enjoy the atmosphere. sausage and cheese is usually pretty good, and she used to like sitting at tom cruise's table..

Jim Neelys Interstate BBB. Their BBQ Spaghetti is incredible. Sounds bad but it’s not.

Went to Cookadoo's for breakfast this morning. Unimpressed by everything except for the Memphis BBQ omelet. It was really good, actually. It's a three egg omelet with cheese, onions, pulled pork, and drizzled with BBQ sauce. Doesn't sound great but it was.

Blues City Cafe on Beale St. I could eat my weight in their ribs.

+1

Neely's Interstate BBQ is garbage.

Best BBQ IMO is BBQ Shop, Cozy Corner, Germantown Commissary, and Central.

Actually ate here tonight bc the group decide to go there. Honestly, these were the worst ribs I have ever eaten.

I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't like them. I guess I should realize the 3 things you don't argue with people about are politics, religion and BBQ. But in Memphis, there are lots of great places to eat, you won't go hungry.
