Very interesting hire. His mentors are Sid and Neil so that is good for him.

Yeah I haven't talked to him in a while, but we went to college together. Had no idea his career was moving this fast. I'm happy for him.

ETA: And yes I do believe he's the youngest HC in the state for whoever asked that...

Damn. I used to work at Coplands with this guy. Not that I think it was worthy of a post, but im glad to find out he is doing well.

We can make this about LSU: He's an avid LSU fan so if/when Redemptrist puts out some stellar athletes he should 'influence' them our way

I don't think you played any type of football did you. If you look down at high school football coaches, your just a typical I don't know shite about football, fan.

This is also one of the top programs in the state. It's definitely news.

Not really one of the best programs anymore. The job was offered to several other coaches including Edwards and Brewerton. Vice is a good guy and hopefully everything goes well for him, but the school is falling apart. It is not a very good situation. This is why Mistretta left and why some of the people offered like Brewerton and Edwards didn't want anything to do with it. I wish Vice the best of luck. Maybe he can keep it alive.

Yep! They've won 3 state titles, and Vice runs a offense that will spread the ball around and show there athletes off.

I agree with you on a lot of that.

Redemptorist will be fine. Got some haters out there just wishing for the worse. Congratulations to coach Vice
