As the best I've ever seen. His shocking, bounding quickness, lightning reflexes and instinct are unmatched in any defender in the league, and his ability to play pretty much any position on defense is rare and infinitely impressive.

He's my league MVP for this season. I know he'll never get it (in favor of a QB, of course), but he deserves it.

You obviously didn't watch Ronnie Lott then. I would also put Ed Reed and Brian Dawkins (in his prime) higher.

He was pretty underwhelming last weekend.

He is by far the best safety in the league. That defense goes from elite to average without him on the field. He makes all the difference in the world to that secondary.

He did not play enough games to win MVP even if he is by the far the best.

What is amazing is the Steelers record and defensive struggles when Troy is injured vs. when he's healthy.

I was thinking the same thing. As great as TP has been I he is on the downhill side of his career.

Yeah because he only just tied his career high in INTs for a season while missing 2 games. So he had one below average game, doesn't mean he's done. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes Sanchez look foolish Sunday.

This guy is a big time play maker. I don't remember if it was last weeks game or...whenever when he jumped over the d and o line to make a tackle at the goal line. I was like "Whoa...."

The guys quick and fierce. I enjoy watching him play

He's still a great player no doubt. Im just saying that the physical pounding he takes and his age is catching up with him some.

BTW, as much as Ive always hated the fricking Steelers I hate the Jets more. Good Luck!
