Landry definitely had a better freshman season than Mathieu

Landry was definitely awesome his freshman year, but that D he was on was the best I've ever seen at LSU. They were incredible and damn near every player was awesome.
This year's D wasn't nearly that good, but Tyrann was awesome. The guy made gigantic plays all year long. So I'm sure Landry had more tackles in his freshman year with Mathieu starting out backing up Peterson, but I think Tyrann might have had more big plays and it continued through the bowl game. That strip/TD that was taken away against the Aggies was one of the best I've ever seen at LSU. And before that he was already having an incredible game.
So they were both great freshman, but a little hard to compare since one D was superior to the other. It would be close either way. Both were incredible in their 1st year.
