Finally back over .500, the Jackets travel tomorrow to Detroit for a rematch of tonight's game.
The CBJ is currently 6 points out of 8th place, but only 7 points out of a tie for 5th in the hotly contested Western Conference.

Arena was rocking. Great atmosphere, always fun to beat the Wings. Going to the game tomorrow night in Detroit, too. Went to Jackets at Bruins last year, and Bruins fans were great, but I have a feeling the Wings fans won't be as hospitable.

Probably need to blow it up anyway, even if we somehow manage to get one of the lower playoff seeds. Keep Vermette, Umberger, Mason, and Nash. Everyone else is expendable (though I'd prefer to keep Voracek and Brassard, too, but if some team is willing to give up a lot for them, since they're young talent, then pull the trigger).

Howson has tried to build this team from the draft up, and it hasn't worked. We tried to get washed up old guys like Foote and Federov to help the young guys along.
We need at least ONE proven guy that can be our leader and take the pressure off of Nash. We also need a big time center that we have NEVER had.
We just need to give up some of these young guys that can be good, for players that ARE good.
Imo.
