Wild Update page 2! season ended early and had my rifle stolen.

I hunted all last week on my non-GJ property and planned on hunting the rest of this week too. I saw a big boy on camera and hoped to get a shot at him.

yesterday afternoon I hunted to spot in the picture above. about 3:30 the buck in the picture came hauling arse down the hill in the far left corner. I hardly had enough time to call at him much less get my gun and get a shot. I didnt see him again during the hunt but I planned on parking my arse in that stand for the rest of the week.

After the hunt I get a call from my work and they tell me to pack my bags because I'm going to Houston for 4 months So my hunting season ends then. Now I have to leave my camp. drive 5 hours home and wash/pack/etc so I can leave at 6am.
After packing and loading my truck, which required many trips in and out of my truck while my girlfriend and I are dead tired, I to bed. Apparently, in our sleepy haze, we didn't lock the truck. I got up this morning ready to leave and notice the my Ipod and rifle have been stolen. I couldn't stick around to wait for the police because I had to book arse to Houston. Now I'm stuck in a hotel, not hunting anymore, down a 7mm, and I don't have an Ipod so I'm listening to Spanish music on Houston radio stations...frick My Life.
