In fact, some of them didn't bother to wait for that. Look at the board for the multiple posts by people who are bummed he stayed and believe that being happy with a 11-2 season is "accepting mediocrity."

In the last 3 years, we have a losing record against 4 of our 6 permanent opponents (Ole Miss, Ark, AL and Fl). Yeah I think there is some mediocrity in those numbers.

I would be more concentrated on our conference games. Oregon is good, but loosing to them or West Virginia next year isn't as bad as loosing to Alabama or Auburn.

How bout for Miles' 6 years. You negatigers are OBESSESSED with 2008 and 2009 and ignore 2005-2007 and 2010.
He's 5-1 in bowls.
He's about 23-1 in non-conference.
His record against our annual SEC foes:
Miss State: 6-0
Alabama: 4-2 (1 MNC)
Auburn: 4-2 (1 MNC)
Ole Miss: 4-2
Florida: 3-3 (2 MNCs)
Arkansas: 3-3
We all want to win every game. But this is the mother-f-ing SEC. It's not happening.
62-17, 11-2 and 41-24 are far more relevant numbers than the negatiger obession with 8-8 from 08-09.
