I am. He may need a new offensive coordinator, but every other aspect of the program is top notch. I just don't see anyone else being that much better.

What say ye?

Now that we have our head coach solidly in place, who is the best available Offensive coordinator?

"if he dies, he dies"

apathetic, really

miles has a whole lot to fix, but there is uncertainty with a new hire

I'm not excited, I'm not upset. If he brings in a new OC, I'll be more excited. If he doesn't, I'll be more upset.

I feel mostly the same as you (apathetic), but disagree with this.

A "whole lot"? Not really.

yes.
he has his faults, but he is our coach and i pull for our coach.

he has honor, his players play hard for him and he recruits and plays clean.

no thugs

we have stability and we can compete.

AND, i'm not sure a coach search this year would have gone very well for us, and we may have been in a down cycle for years.
i'll take what we know vs. a draw against who might be available this year.

i don't think Miles is a great coach by any stretch. In fact he is probably the 4-5th best coach in the SEC, in my opinion.

but the timing was terrible for him to leave at this point

As stupid as some of his clock management issues are you can't argue with 61-17.
Dude can recruit, now if only we would change our OC I would be happy.

I'm happy bc there was really noone else on the market. I love that we will have another couple years of great recruiting, but I hate that I still have the thought in the back of my head of wasting these recruits year in and year out and watching a Ferrari stuck in first gear running on water year in and year out
