Anyone think he would leave UNC to come here? I think he could succeed immediately, but that us just my opinion.

He's a good coach but I'd like someone that can run a clean program too.

I actually wanted him when we hired Miles.
But, after seeing what he has done in UNC, I am beginning to rethink that. Myabe it was his fault, or maybe it wasn't, but it still seems that Miles has MUCH more control over his team than a lot of other coaches out there.

Davis is pretty entrenched here in my opinion. UNC can easily afford to match anything we offer. They have first rate facilities and a fan base that is becoming increasingly interested in football. Also, his son is a junior in high school so that may be another factor playing against us.

key would be how he sells LSU on the stuff at UNC being John Blake acting on his own. funny how he's gone from the guy who cleaned up Miami to seeming like he's running a bit of a rogue outfit at UNC.
