Bama's D is the goddamn Empire to LSU's Rogue Squadron

Bama obviously needs to pound out the run to take control. Florida's O looks ridiculous though. Weiss with SEC talent might be the best OC at any level of football.

Gotta disagree here. This game sounds louder than any game I've seen on TV since '07 UF-LSU. That said, it is on tv so its obviously tough to compare without actually attending the games.

Davis is pretty entrenched here in my opinion. UNC can easily afford to match anything we offer. They have first rate facilities and a fan base that is becoming increasingly interested in football. Also, his son is a junior in high school so that may be another factor playing against us.
Faulk or Faneca? They've both been in the league for years. Probably Faneca moreso than Faulk since he's a former Pro Bowler
quote:

Were the Tigers too hasty in dismissing them for Chavis?

Maybe the coaches should have given them a chance to redeem themselves.

I mean it's not a foregone conclusion that just because they failed last year they would have failed this year.

Why did coach Miles just assume that they would not improve?

Perhaps coach Miles should have handed them the reigns once again this year. I mean, what would that have cost the team?

Or maybe they should have been kept on as consultants to Chavis. I mean, who knows? Chavis might start screwing up--or he might even go down with an injury. Then Mallory and Peveto would have been available to go right in and save the team.

It would seem that after all those two guys did for us, after all the effort they gave, we should have stood behind them and showed a little support.

It's a shame that now we'll vever know if coaches Mallory and Peveto could have redeemed themselves.

I mean, what's the worst thing that could have happened?

Mr. Offdacorner, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

2003 win over UGA
Trev Alberts
Alabama (the entire state)
2006 Auburn refs

Frankly I'm surprised only one other person has mentioned Trev Alberts. That guy was a d-bag

Chavis runs a physical, blitz-happy D. I'm pretty excited to see the improvement this year but also kind of nervous about all this "3rd and Chavis" garbage the UT fans are spouting. Anyway, our D certainly can't get any worse than last year.
Without a doubt USCe. Five Points or w/e its called was overhyped. Security was obnoxious and the fans were terrible, although I don't remember the dousche throwing batteries. Also, I just didn't like Columbia and the stadium at all.

UT is probably my favorite trip. Great tailgating and welcoming fans. I wasn't a huge fan of the stadium itself though. The fans were pretty quiet and the seating is packed too tightly.
