Alleva's letter at the end of last season about being a nice year but how we aspire for championships.
Some felt it was not ringing endorsement for all that Les had already done for LSU.

Never heard the expression, but you may have a point.
I always thought Alleva jumped the gun with that silly "letter" trying to pacify this bi-polar fanbase, of which many of the bipolar ones hang out on message forums like these.
It's quite easy to see that Miles may feel like Alleva is not 100 percent behind him, and that may make his decision to leave easier.

Well, Miles was 17-9 in 2 yrs and not making any progress toward fixing the situation.
The only "claw" he should have had was a little self-respect for taking $4 mil, and not earning it

I believe the inside issues refer to Miles’ “internal Issues” inside his stomach.
I personally take tagament or prevacid for similar discomfort---- and Highly Recommend it!-------
