The guy is bad news

He's already in trouble at Nebraska

Can't control himself with players

Defense is good against bad teams, nonexistent against the spread

Tailspin this season with losses to A&M, Texas and Washington -- yikes!!!!

Bourbon Street

You might think Pelini is an easy answer, but he is not. Get Mullen, Petrino, or Malzahn instead. Don't think about money. You'll save it in the long run.

I have no problem with Pellini as a head coach. My concern in our situation is more of him not being the right fit. I feel we would be better off keeping as much of our defensive staff in place and bring in a pro style offensive coach.

I don't get the impression that either of these guys are on the market. Both have turned down some pretty good opportunities lately. Not saying never but probably wishful thinking. Especially Mullen, passed on Florida and signed new contract.

Malzahn was a HS coach just a short time ago. I think I'd take Pelini over him. But first choice should be Patterson, second choice would be Mullen.

I agree. He knows defense and that`s it.The offense at Nebraska stinks. We can do much better.

I find it very ironic that Pelini's demeanor most resembles Nick Saban's more than any other coach in College Football, yet the thought of him coaching at LSU is making our fans sick.

Because he doesn't run the same pressure heavy defense with exotic blitz schemes that Saban did.
