Lee has had plenty of chances to beat out Jefferson. He couldn't do it for whatever reason. IDK why.
Nothing he could do would put him ahead of JJ. If he didn't start after the UF game, he was never going to displace JJ. Playing better than JJ had nothing to do with which QB was going to start. But yeah, he will transfer. He should.

This is his fourth year here. I believe he's graduating in May.
If he graduates in May, I think he can go directly to another BCS school for grad school and play football immediately.

He would be able to transfer to another school and enroll in a graduate program that LSU does not offer to play next season. How many BCS schools do you think he could walk into and be guaranteed the starting job?
LSU is one of the favorites to win the championship next year and he is one play away from being the starter. I think he rides it out and gets a national championship ring next year.

He won 2 games for us and our fans have no appreciation for his contribution this year.

Why would he transfer? You think he will be playing in the NFL? He his getting an education at one of the finer universities in the country. He'll stay and graduate.

I don't know what he will do, but he's got options. With ZM coming in, he may not feel that confident that he's one play away from starting. And while no one is going to guarantee him a starting job he might find a situation where he feels he has a much better chance at starting (even if they aren't contenders).

JL Kid stuck it out. Would have lost at least 2 games this year without him. I wish he much luck in life,& much happiness.

Why...b/c something is challenging he should leave?

Why should JL deserved to play last night? It took him 2 passes to complete the winning pass against Florida and if he had hit RR in stride aginst Bama h would have scored.
Just because he was clutch in the 2 biggest wins of the year doesn't mean he should have played. What if it had hurt JJ's feelings?

Guaranteed? none. Could he potentially start for most teams in the country? yes.

Assuming he doesnt get passed by the juco national champion QB.

So he could go to grad school anywhere and play in Div I? I'd love for him to get a chance at a decent school.

Unfortunately because of poor coaching he is not a champion.
Feelings first!

If he got a fair chance. Not like that farce last spring training here.

LSU's had 11 drives after the pick on the 1st drive.
5 went for TDs
3 went for attempted FGs
1 was a punt
2 ended halves
The punt came after 3 TD drives and was followed by another TD drive, yet we have people complaining about why the backup didn't get in.

What is JLees biggest strength?
What can he do that he is better than a little below average?
I like the guy, but we have been given a huge sampling and he has made no real progression.
JJ has wheels..........at least it is A offensive weapon when needed. JJ scrambled for three first downs that would have been negative yardage plays and punts with JL at the helm.
And to clarify, I spent two years BEGGING to see him go in.
