His LSU team is loaded with young talent, finally getting some qb talent in, Family loves BR and the GRASS tast much better in Tiger Stadium!

thanks for the insight. There's no way this post could have been offered in the million other threads already going about this subject?

I agree with that, but it's not that simple.
Think about being an LSU fan your whole life, and you have a career going in coaching. Wouldn't you want to coach for LSU if the opportunity presents itself?

I hope Les realizes that he has more talent and opportunity to succeed at LSU than at Michigan or anywhere else. Not to mention there would be no way he could pull the crazy shite he does here with Michigan's mediocre personel.

I think that is a clue. He wants some good grass to graze on when we finally put him out to pasture.

Same exact words could have been used when $aban left.

but theres no way you can compare saban to miles when it comes to character....

If Michigan offers, Miles leaves. Can't see it any other way, unless the $ isn't comparable.

Yes and he has won over 60 games in six years, a SEC, and National Title and 90% of the people in this town wanted to know his buyout before he beat Bama this year. He still has a large faction of the fan base that wants him gone. If my dream job came calling and was willing to pay me $3 million a year I would hall arse. Especially when my current environment does not appreciate what I have done and is just waiting for me to fail to dump my arse.

I think he stays. Miles isn't one to walk out on his team and these players believe it or not have more pull than anyone at Michigam or what any fans here woyld have to say about him

Miles makes around 4 million dollars a year at LSU. Michigan is cheap when paying their coaches, so I don't see Miles leaving LSU.

+1
the money would be similar...Michigan could come close.. cost of living ???
the expectations would be lower..for the first 3 -4 years
and he WOULD BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION.. not to mention "one of them"
..it would not be a huge leap to think of it...
I am not sure that Michigan really wants him at this time.

Miles isn't one to walk out on his team

Miles would be facing a major rebuilding job that would challenge his skills. At LSU the program is loaded and ready to make 2 or 3 title runs
what challenge is he "up" for?
To rebuild and return his Alma mater to glory?
Or to win another title and stifle all those dumbass negatigers ?
I think he will decide on what challenges thet he is up for and which one is more attainable

quote:BUT, Les knows that he was a couple plays, NC tight end catching one of those passes, Tenn not having 13 men on the field or the ball not conviently bouncing up to Jasper in the FLA game, from being relieved of his duties at the end of this year. And he probably figures that one bad year here and he'd be out..

so if I'm Les and take all that into consideration. If they offer, I leave....

How many times the past 2-3 years was Miles booed at home? He will remember each and every one of those times when the brinks truck is backed up to his house and Michigan rolls out the red carpet and says Come home and save us Les.
He may stay because there is a major rebuilding job to do at Michigan, but at this point only Miles knows what he is going to do.
