Looks like you have the same problem we have, everything except deer feeding.

Whats the logic behind this? Why cant you hunt turkeys in the fall/winter when people actually eat them. Anybody ever roasted a turkey in April?

Same as for deer, the season is during the "chase" when the Toms are trying to get laid.

Also the youngens are still young, Toms stay together, etc..

I know in Virginia you can shoot one on Thanksgiving day.

I have never roasted one but I love them prepared other ways. A wild turkey will make you throw rocks at a butterball!
