Seriously...do a search on the forum for New Orleans restaurants. You will find more than enough threads that will direct you in the right price/location/type of food you're interested in.

What type of food are you looking for? A sit down dinner place.. Quick bites. Something unique to NOLA?

BBQ shrimp at Mr. B's, after having a milk punch in the Carousel Bar in the Monteleone, across the street.

Fried oyster loaf at Casamento's.

Roast beef poboy at Parkway.

Turtle soup at Mandina's. You can get some pretty decent fried seafood poboys there, as well.

Oysters rock at Galatoire's, along with a long list of other things.

Shrimp remoulaude at Arnaud's with a host of other items.

Well you can get the original (although disputed of course) Muffaletta at Central Grocery in the quarter.

Take a cab and get a Po-Boy at Parkway Bakery.

If you want cajun food not creole.. K-Pauls or Couchon.

Drago's chargrilled oysters I tend to get while in town. Although not cheap right now and you would probably be limted to only the riverside location unless you want to take a drive.

Are you limited to a certain location?

Post your hotel location, price range, willingness to move about the city, etc...you'll get tons of good recs if people know what you're looking for.

Plaza, section 131, row 1, seats 1 thru 4. First row above field. Great for up close and personal touchdowns in endzone, but high enough to get good viewing of rest of field.

Rio Mar
La Boca all in the Warehouse District

Luke
Herbsaint
Horinoya All in the Central Business District

Casamento's
Guy's Po-Boy's
Clancy's
Boucherie All mostly Uptown

Cafe Minh. Mid-City. On the Canal streetcar line.

Who would want to buy these unless you were going to go and sit with them, Choc? You should sell them as "go to the Sugar Bowl with Choc". Why aren't you going?

Why would he want to travel to NOLA to try:

Rio Mar
La Boca
Horinoya
Cafe Minh

Im sure he is looking for Louisiana cuisine not good places to eat that are found in many places.

For breakfast/brunch, try Stanley in the quarter or Ruby Slipper, 1 block off Canal. Otherwise, glassman's list is great.

It isn't a typical Vietnamese place. Very original and I doubt he can find a comparable place.
