re: so i'm watching inception

For laughs I can be entertained by almost anything.
But for psychological thrillers, I need something more than Inception delivered. I'd gladly start with banning that stupid arse music track playing endlessly in the background - making it abundantly clear the director is playing with people's susceptibility to be influenced by such influences. I don't need parlor tricks to be thrilled. A good story line will do just fine.
I could also do without those grueling slow motion fight scenes in spinning rooms. There wasn't a more obvious example of a director's efforts to extend the length of the movie to thrill the Bill and Ted types.

That was the best scene in the whole movie. And no I'm not one of those "Bill and Ted" types you refer to.

If you think Inception relied on parlor tricks to be a good movie you are really showing your ignorance. Im sorry that is nothing other than a stupid opinion of the film.

No shite. For example, as far as a true "psychogical thriller" is concerned, Black Swan is an order of magnitude beyond Inception.
