I love LSU football and I love college football in general. Usually if LSU has a bad year I am a little down but for the most part will still have thoroughly enjoyed the college football season. Not this year, the NCAA has left a sour taste in my mouth that won't be forgotten soon. OSU and Scam should have been punished to the point that it makes the NCAA look like a joke.Year of the cheaters 2010 the year the NCAA lost all credibility.

Why would the NCAA make itself look like a joke?

I am saying that by not punishing obvious offenders they make themselves look like a joke. OSU is being punished but in a way that is convenient for OSU.

Yeah the NCAA used to rule with an iron fist, now it is done with a pink glove.

Because there are boosters who would be willing to buy a 5 star recruit's H.S. ballcap, "game-worn" cleats, etc. for $50,000 in exchange for signing.

I hope the ratings drop a tad to send them a message. Stop messing with our favorite sport!

I get that for a prospect, but a kid who is already playing for you? I really fail to see the harm.

I don't quite get why a dude would be willing to sell something like a championship ring...a game jersey? Sure. But awards and stuff like that....makes you think the kids don't care about what they've acomplished in school. Kinda sad.

the after effects of letting Cam off the hook are already starting. They are now in position of well shite, this can't be penalized too harshly or it really makes us look bad for letting a parent solicit money without penalty. NCAA has always been biased, but Emmert has the wheels coming off quickly.
