What's with all the bowl games this year?

IMO, I think there should be less bowl games. You're basically rewarding teams that are sub-par with 35 bowl games. Also, I really don't wanna watch Kansas State and Syracuse in the Pinstripe Bowl. Or Mid. Tennessee State and Miami-Ohio in the GoDaddy.com Bowl. I mean honestly, some of these games really don't need to be played. 20 Bowls is plenty, if not too much. What's your take on this?

Also, why is the Cotton Bowl being played on the 7th this year, every year I've been alive it's been on the 1st at like noon. Why break tradition?

Why not? I'm not complaining about more college football. It's 10x better then then watching the NBA meaningless games on right now! I can't wait for Bowl season.

Bowl importance still exists. I know the difference in the Sugar and the pin stripe bowl and mostly everyone does. Just cause there is more doesn't devalue the experience. BCS is still king and everyone knows what the other big time non BCS bowls are.

I think there should be NO bowl games this year, and a playoff instead.

But nobody listens to me either.

More bowl games are good for the students, student athletes, universities, fans, and economy.

What bugs me more are the minor bowls being played after Jan 1. Getting a January bowl is supposed to be special but when games like Ticket City and GoDaddy.com are played after Jan 1, it's just lame.

Why not let teams who aren't national title contenders get 15 extra practices and one more game to play? Before the season there are 100 teams that don't have a chance of playing for it all, so give them something to look forward to
