It's only fair to have both though. Bad move if they don't. Smart move ifthey allow both. I assume LSU would go first and aggs would go last and also do the national anthem and such

Hey guys - Cotton Bowl's Twitter already said both bands will perform pre-game.

I was going to be pissed about it too. Not that I know anything about y'all's band, but I like the idea of seeing as much of your school's culture as possible.

To squash the rumors - both school bands will perform pregame.

This doesn't mean we will get to play "our" pregame.

If could just be a joint national anthem or something...

There is one obvious answer to this, the band standing at attention and every Tiger fan in the stadium turns away from the field while thier program is underway. When the last note in played, band pulls and about face, the drums start playing. BOOM!!

There was always a "home" team in the bowl games I went to, but both bands always had time to do pregame and halftime

This is a pretty Mickey Mouse thing to do if true.

This is BS. Go to the Cotton Bowl web site and read the scroll about both bands being allowed to perform their pre-game rituals.

No band did pregame at the Cotton Bowl the last two years. Instead they had some high school band deal where bands come from all over the country and perform as a big group with the Kilgore rangerettes. At least thats what they did the last two years but I was told it's a long time tradition. I'm glad it may be changing.

no one is starting shite. As of 10:00 this morning and when I posted this, Tiger Band was not performing pregame.
It wasn't until this afternoon that the Cotton Bowl put that both bands would perform pregame on twitter...

You may want to change the subject of the thread for those who are seeing it for the first time tonight...

Hey, here is an honest question, how many of ya'll bitching about no pregame, will actually be there? I live in Alabama and I go to the majority of home and away games. I'll definitely be at the Cotton Bowl. I received my tickets this week. Why bitch about something that is not going to be on TV anyway?
