Extremely poor taste and bad karma. Sorry about this idiot, Ags.

Agreed on Katrina and Bonfire being off limits. Whenever we have seen a hint of someone saying something about Katrina, they have been flamed repeatedly.

LSU is my second favorite school and the fans are great. I look forward to crashing some tailgating parties because the food is the best.

Sorry aggies
No need to apologize for some other jackass, but thanks for the thought.

My skin has gotten a little thicker in the last 11 years, and I don't expect anyone else to understand or care about our traditions, but it always surprises when someone thinks they're being clever by trying to make a funny haw haw about something that involved young people dying. I'm sure they're a blast at parties.

Dude, that's the thing, IMHO, the Texas A&M
12th man, Reveille, Aggie War Hymn (love it),and especially, the Bonfire ARE college football.

Fans of other schools may make fun of other schools traditions, but it actuality, they are acknowledging them. Every great football school has great traditions. I like them all, A&M's included.

I agree that was classless (I did not see the post); but any post like that shows the immaturity and (lack of) intelligence of the poster.

I really cannot agree more with the above statement Let's face it, at the end of the day, an education is an education--what really makes American universities and college football so unique are the cultures and traditions of the different campuses. I'm a Michigan fan as well, and as much as I hate ohio state, even I stand in awe as their band does script ohio for the millionth time. During our game with Nebraska, every husker fan I encountered to a person said our "Sawing Varsity's Horns Off" routine was one of the most impressive things they've ever witnessed at a game.

Can't tell you how excited I am to see an old rivalry like LSU-A&M rekindled not just because it brings some of the hate back, but really allows a new generation of students and fans to experience what makes the other institution great.

I'll give you a pass if you've never seen a picture of Reveille, but there's a pretty distinct difference between an American collie and a border collie last I checked

Its not Reveilles fault that she's stuck living with a bunch of corp guys 24/7. I wish we could rescue her

Hey, the President of our company is an Aggie and we give him shite about it all the time. He's good natured about it and it doesn't seem to bother him. However, never teased him about the bonfire either.

I'm an old man now but I remember when my grandmother would tell me to go wade out in the water behind her place and scoop up mayhaws that were floating on top. She would take them and make jelly. - The absolute best!!

I think this might be what the fuss is about. After rereading it, I think I may have overreacted a little, but I do not have thick skin when it comes to Aggie Bonfire.

No the thread in question got whacked. It was directly talking about the bonfire deaths. Not even in a subtle way
